Welcome to SCAPAL!
The Southwest Center for Asian Pacific American Law (SCAPAL) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) law center formed to advocate for the rights of those who do not have adequate access or understanding of our legal system.
SCAPAL provides legal assistance and guidance about the law through advocacy, research and policy analysis, and education. Our efforts focus primarily on educating the San Diego's Asian Pacific Islander community on empowering them on their legal rights.

SCAPAL aims to provide nonpartisan, data driven legal research work and capacity to nonprofit organizations, community groups, and other community entities. |
SCAPAL believes that through genuine partnerships and collaboration, the Asian Pacific Islander community of San Diego can identify and address the diverse policy issues that pervade throughout all diverse communities of San Diego County. |
